13 December 2008 St Gemmas Hospice Retro Fair
Come along to the St Gemmas Retro Fair and visit the All Our Hearts Content portrait photography studio. Bring along your secondhand pride and joy and we’ll take a picture and pop it onto the website along with your story. For the camera-shy we’ll also have our Postcard Workshop wwhere you can get creative and draw or collage your favourite hand-me-downs.

30 August 2008 Chapel Allerton Arts Festival
With the help of St Gemmas Hospice we recreated a Charity Shop vibe as part of the Rayon Rose Make Do And Mend exhibition. We asked people to draw or collage their fave secondhand finds onto blank All Our Hearts Content Postcards. It was a bit messy and very sticky but lots of fun.

July 2008: During I Love West Leeds Festival we had a fine old time setting up shop in the lovely charity emporiums of West Leeds. Shoppers were invited to swap second-hand stories for a piece of cake. We visited the YMCA, Age Concern, PDSA and Cancer Research.

The highlight of our tour was teaming up with Charity Shop DJ and the Easy Action Sound System who played some of the best and cheesiest long forgotten tunes he found languishing in Age Concerns record boxes. It was a hoot!
